The purpose of the Patriot Sporting Spaniel Club, Inc. is to provide a specialized support organization for owners, trainers, and breeders of sporting spaniels. The club accomplishes this by:
a. Fostering and advancing educational, social and charitable networks that will assist in the training, breeding and ownership of sporting spaniels.
b. Promoting friendship, understanding, cooperation and sportsman like competition among owners, trainers, and breeders of sporting spaniels at Field Trials and all similar activities.
c. Conducting licensed matches and hunting tests.
d. Encouraging and promoting the quality in breeding of pure-bred sporting spaniels and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.
e. Promoting activities designed to encourage the development of better breeds of dogs.
Eligible Breeds: Spaniel Hunt Tests
All dogs six months of age or older from the following breeds are eligible to participate in Spaniel Hunting Tests:
• Dogs of these breeds recorded with the Purebred Alternative Listing Program/Indefinite Listing.
• Privilege (PAL/ILP) or dogs with Conditional registration are eligible to participate.
• Spayed and neutered dogs are eligible to participate.
• Bitches in season are not eligible to participate, nor are they allowed on the grounds.
• Dog with Limited Registration are eligible to participate.
